HON. JUSTICE O. A. OJO
Chief Judge
Justice Oyebola Adepele Ojo was appointed a Judge of the High Court on December 21, 2000 and sworn in as the first female Chief Judge on the 17th June, 2013.
Before His Lordship’s elevation as a Judge, His Lordship had been in full legal practice in the Law Firms of Galadima, Hussani & Co. (1986-1988), S.O Obande & Co. (1989-1990), Bola Ojo & Co (1991-1993) and Tunji Abolade & Co (1994-2000).
His Lordship presided at various times as Presiding Judge in the State Judicial Divisions namely: Ife, Ejigbo, Ikire, Iwo, and Ilesa Divisions. His Lordship was also on National assignments and functioned as Member of National Assembly/Governorship and Legislative Houses Election Tribunals in Nasarawa State and FCT Abuja, in 2003 and 2007 respectively and Member of National and State Houses of Assembly Election Tribunal in Bauchi State in 2011.
His Lordship has attended various seminars and refresher courses in the judicial circle.
His Lordship is blazing the trail as the Chief Judge of the High Court in restructuring, developing and re-organizing the Court system, rebranding the mentality and work attitude of staffs, attending to Judges, Magistrates and general staff welfare.
As the Chief Judge, His Lordship is the Chairman of the State Judicial Service Commission (JSC), Chairman of the State Administration of Justice Committee. His Lordship is a member of the Body of Benchers Council of Legal Education, Member of the Board of Governors of the National Judicial Institute.
His Lordship’s hobbies include dancing and research. His Lordship is a widow with children.
HON. JUSTICE O. D. AFOLABI
Judge
Hon. Justice Olayinka David AFOLABI obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Hons degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 1990. He attended the Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island Lagos between 1990/1991, passed his qualifying examinations and was thereafter called to Bar in December 1991.
He was one of the pioneer Corps members that served in the Ministry of Justice (Asaba) of the newly created Delta State. Upon completion of the Youth Service in 1992, His Lordship returned to the Faculty of Law, Obafemi Awolowo University for his postgraduate studies in Law (LL.M), which program was only completed in 1994 due to June 12 political crisis of 1993.
Hon. Justice Olayinka David AFOLABI, was in active legal practice before his elevation to the High Court Bench. He worked with the law firm of Yomi Afolabi-Oloja, of Sabo, Yaba Lagos state. The law firm was mostly involved in litigation covering land, chieftaincy as well as commercial disputes being legal retainers to several companies.
While undergoing his postgraduate studies, he also practised with the law firm of P.A Ogunleye & Co., in Ile-Ife where he was further exposed to intricacies of land litigation.
He set up his own Law firm Yinka Afolabi & Associates, a firm of lawyers that engaged in corporate, criminal and civil litigation in 1996.
While in legal practice, Hon. Justice Olayinka David AFOLABI, was an active Bar man. He was the Chairman of Nigerian Bar Association, Ile-Ife Branch, at the same time, a member of the National Executive Committee of the NBA from October 2003 until 19th May 2005 when he was sworn in as a Judge of Osun State High Court.
Since his elevation to the Bench his Lordship has served in different judicial divisions of the Court at different times including: Ilesa, Ikire and Osogbo Judicial Divisions. His Lordship currently presided in High Court No. 2 Osogbo Judicial Division.
Also, his Lordship has served in different capacities both at the State and National Levels. He was the Chairman of the Osun State Local Government Election Petition Tribunal in the year 2007; member, Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Jos, Plateau state in the year 2011; member, National Assembly and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal in Nassarawa State between November 2011/February 2012; member, Anambra State National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal, Awka in the year 2012.
Hon. Justice Olayinka David AFOLABI served as one-man Judicial Panel of Inquiry into the creation of Ijesa South Traditional Council, Osun State in 2009.
His Lordship has attended several conferences, training and seminars locally and internationally including: Mediation training for Nigerian Judges at Kennesaw State University, Atlanta Georgia, USA between 29th November 2012 to 12th December 2012; Training in Leadership and Professional Ethics and Training in International Arbitration at the same Kennesaw State University Atlanta Georgia USA between 5th to 10th August 2013 and 12th August to 14th August 2013 respectively and in 2020, Training organised by the Chartered Institute of Mediators and Conciliators in Dubai, UAE and became a full-fledged member of the Institute.
Since his elevation to the High Court Bench on 19th May 2005, his Lordship has attended the biennial All Nigerian Judges Conference till date.
His Lordship is a Christian and a member of the Anglican Communion, Church of Nigeria. He has served in various capacities in his Diocese, Diocese of Ife before becoming the Chancellor of the Diocese since year 2016.
His Lordship is happily married and blessed with children.
HON. JUSTICE A. A. G. ONIBOKUN
Judge
HONOURABLE JUSTICE ADEDOTUN ADEDAMOLA GRACE ONIBOKUN graduated from the University of Lagos with an LL.B Hons Degree Upper Division in 1983. She was on Federal Government Scholarship from her First year in 1980 to 1983 having won the National Merit for the Best Outstanding result in the first year.
In the final year in 1983, she won the Vice Chancellor's Prize for the Best Performance at the Degree Level (Law); College/Faculty Prize for the best all-round Performance in the Faculty; Chief C. E. Abebe’s Prize for the Best All-round Final year student in the Faculty of Law 1983 and also Dr. Teslim Elias Prize for the student with best result in Jurisprudence and Legal Theory.
She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1984.
She also holds a Diploma in Management 1992; Certificate in Public Relations 1994; and an Executive Diploma in Human Resources Management with Distinction (1996).
She was the Company Secretary/Legal Adviser to Rank Xerox H S Nigeria Limited where she won the Managing Director's Award of Excellence for Outstanding Contributions to the Company in 1995 before she went back to Private Legal Practice.
In year 2001 she joined the Public Service of Osun State as Director of Ministerial Counselling; and was later the Director of Litigation and Director of Public Prosecutions in that order before she was elevated to the position of High Court Judge in December 2005 and sworn in on 4<sup>th</sup> January, 2006.
As a High Court Judge, she is a two-time recipient of Letters of Commendation by the National Judicial Council (2008 and 2009). As a Judge she has served as Member, Local Government Elections Petitions Tribunal; and handled a One-Man public Inquiry into the Ogunsua Chieftaincy matter in Modakeke Town, Osun State.
Honourable Justice Onibokun is also a member of the Board of Trustees of International Public Law Society, ICON-S (Nigeria Chapter) under whose auspices she has also organized Workshops including:

She has also chaired many conferences and seminars on Mediation, Arbitration and other subjects.
Honourable Justice Onibokun has published several articles in major publications and has edited and published books including:

Justices of the Court of Appeal and of the Supreme Court.

HON. JUSTICE A. A. ADERIBIGBE
Judge
Hon. Justice Dr. Adeyinka Adebayo Aderibigbe, (Ph.D, MICMC) was born on 7th day of December, 1967. He is from Iwo in Iwo Local Government, Osun West Senatorial District of Osun State. He had his Primary School education at Baptist Primary School, Ajasse-Ipo, Kwara State from 1973 to 1979. For his Secondary Education, he attended: Oro Grammar School, Oro, Kwara State (1979 - 1980); Anglican Grammar School, Orita-mefa, Ibadan, Oyo State (1980 - 1982) and Oluponna High School, Oluponna-Iwo, Oyo State (now Osun State) (1982 - 1984).
He obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B Hons.) degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria in 1988 and a Barrister at Law (B.L) from Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos in 1990. His Lordship later returned to Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria where he obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M) in 2003, Master of Philosophy in Law (M.Phil) in 2014 and Doctor of Philosophy in Law (Ph.D) in 2019.
For his work experience, he started as Legal Officer II at Oyo State Ministry of Justice from 1<sup>st</sup> February 1991 to 27<sup>th</sup> August, 1991. When Osun State was created on 27th August, 1991 he moved to Osun State Ministry of Justice where he rose through the ranks to become the Acting Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary on 10th May, 2005. He was elevated to the Osun State High Court bench on 13th March, 2006 and has served in Ikirun, Osogbo, Ejigbo and Ile-Ife Judicial Divisions. He is presently the Administrative Judge in Ilesa Judicial and he also covers Ijebu-Jesa Judicial Division.
In his capacity as a Judge of the Osun State High Court, His Lordship has performed other judicial functions including: Member of the Election Petitions Tribunal in Akwa Ibom State in 2007 and Chairman, National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal (Panel l) in Abia State in 2019.
On 1<sup>st</sup> December, 2020, His Lordship obtained the certificate and was admitted to membership of Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators ICMC Nigeria on 1st December, 2020.
His Lordship is the present Chairman of the Osun State Branch of the Nigerian Red Cross Society.
He has attended several seminars, workshops and conferences in Nigeria and overseas.
His literary works include:

HON. JUSTICE I. O. ADELEKE
Judge
Hon. Justice Isiaka Oluwasanmi Adeleke was born on the 2nd day of February, 1960. He hails from Odeomu in Ayedaade Local Government Area of Osun State. He attended DC Primary School, Odeomu and graduated from Modakeke Islamic Grammar School, Osun State. While in Secondary School, his Lordship was President, Literary and Debating Society, General Secretary, Current Affairs Club and was the Social Prefect of the School. His Lordship graduated with LL.B (Hons.) from the University of Lagos in the year 1990 and got his B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos in the year 1991. His Lordship was called to the Nigerian Bar on Thursday, 16th July, 1992. As a result of the fact that his Lordship was above the mandatory National Youth Service Age when he finished from the Law School, NYSC issued his Lordship an Exemption Certificate dated 9th September, 1991. His Lordship was the Public Relation Officer of the Nigerian Bar Association (Osogbo Branch) and also the Assistant Secretary of the Muslim Lawyers Association, Osogbo Branch.
Prior to His Lordship’s elevation as a Judge of Osun State, His Lordship was a Solicitor at S.O. Olodo & Co, Sokoto State between July 1991 to July 1992. His Lordship also worked with the Osun State Ministry of Justice between August 1992 to January 2007 where he rose through the ranks and became the Acting Director Public Prosecutions, before being elevated to the High Court Bench. His Lordship has served on several Committees and was appointed as a High Court Judge of Osun State on the 4th of December, 2006 and sworn in on the 5th of January, 2007.
His Lordship has served in different Judicial Divisions and is presently covering Ila-Orangun, Ikirun and Okuku Judicial Divisions. His Lordship was a member of the Kwara State Election Petition Tribunal in 2015. His Lordship has attended different National and International Workshops and Seminars. His Lordship is a member of Ode-Omu Development Union and a member of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Concilators (ICMC Nigeria).
His Lordship is happily married with children. His Lordship’s hobbies include Reading, Writing, Cattle Farming, Tendering of Flowers and Vegetables.
HON. JUSTICE S. O. FALOLA
Judge
Hon. Justice Sakariyah Oyejide Falola was born on 23rd September, 1962 at Ile-Ogbo, Ayedire Local Government Area of Osun State.
He was educated at Ansarudeen Primary School, Adifa, Apomu, Ayedade Grammar School, Ikire, Divisional Teachers Training College Ile-Ife and Osun State College of education, Ila-Orangun. Hon. Justice Falola spent six years at a stretch at the University of Ibadan and came out with two first degrees, one in Guidance & Counselling (1987) and the other in Law (1990) both of them with Honours.
Hon. Justice Falola attended Nigerian Law School, Lagos and was called to the Nigerian Bar on 7th December 1991. He worked in many schools at Ibadan and Iwo as Classroom Teacher and School Counsellor.
Upon his call to bar, he did his pupilage at Messrs Tunji Abolade & Co Igbona, Osogbo. He later set up his private Chambers at Iwo and Ikire. In the course of practice he traversed across Nigeria from South West to South South, South East and up North.
Hon. Justice Falola joined the Magistracy of Osun State Judiciary on 7th December 2001, as Senior Magistrate Grade II the day he became ten years old at the bar. He rose through the ranks to become the pioneer Chief Registrar, Customary Court of Appeal, Osun State. Hon. Justice Falola was elevated to High Court bench on 28th December 2008. He is currently the presiding Judge in Osogbo High Court.
Hon. Justice Falola was once Secretary NBA, Iwo Branch, Secretary Magistrates' Association of Nigeria, Osun State Branch. Osun State University College of Law has named a Chambers after him. He is currently the Chairman Parents Forum Osun State University, Osogbo.
My Lord Hon. Falola has attended very many workshops and seminars in Nigeria, Africa, Middle East, US and UK. My Lord is a Scholar at Kennesaw State University, Atlanta Georgia United States of America.

HON. JUSTICE O. F. OLOYEDE
Judge
Born in Ilesa, Osun State of Ijesa parents, on the 18<sup>th</sup> day of December, 1966, Honourable Justice Olamide Folahanmi <strong>OLOYEDE</strong> is a jurist/legal professional with thirty-three (33) years post qualification experience, in the general field of legal practice. She obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria in December, 1988, a Council of Legal Education Certificate, of the Nigerian Law School, Victorian Island Lagos, in December, 1989, sequel to which she was enrolled at the Supreme Court of Nigeria as a Solicitor and Advocate on 15th December, 1989. She thereafter pursued and obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M) Degree, again, from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria in October, 2001.
His Lordship’s experience spans Constitutional, Civil, Criminal and Industrial law, having worked her way up learning various aspects of the profession from being a Junior Counsel, Junior Counsel: Irving and Bonnar (Barristers & Solicitors), Ebani House, Marina, Lagos State, between June, 1991- July 1994; Legal Officer: Osogbo Steel Rolling Coy. August, 1994- August, 1996. She was an Associate Counsel, at Anyaibe & Co (Keller Chambers), Waterlines, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, between September, 1996- October, 1998. His lordship was appointed to the Magisterial Bench, of the Osun State Judiciary, as a Senior Magistrate Grade 2 in November, 1998, and rose through the ranks to become the Chief Registrar/ Chief Sheriff of the State Judiciary, July 2008-May 2010, a position in which she <em>coordinated and managed court employees in the provision of full HR support and services to the State Judiciary;</em> in recognition of which his lordship was elevated to the High Court Bench by appointment on the 19<sup>th</sup> of May, 2010, the office that she currently exercises.
His lordship displays expertise and skills in the areas of: legal codes, Interpretation and application of laws, keen observational skills, objective fact evaluation, good grasp of civil and criminal procedure, research and analysis, effective communication and lucid writing style, Leadership, coaching and mentoring; deft caseload management, Policy Formulation and Implementation, and has received extensive training (Local and international) in Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms, as well as in Peace Keeping Missions.
In addition to her professional work, she continues to work assiduously to develop and help drive reforms to correct systemic inequalities and injustices and improve/increase access to justice for underserved communities. Towards this end, his lordship was a volunteer in the Technical Committee on Constitutional Review, for the 9<sup>th</sup> Assembly, Federal Republic of Nigeria. July 2020 – May, 2022.
Furthermore, his lordship teaches law and mentors students “ex gratis” in public and private universities in the community. A committed Research Fellow, her area of interest focuses on the nexus between law and human flourishing, and her research topic is on how the effective enforcement of the constitutional crime of misconduct can stimulate economic growth, and better quality living for the people of Nigeria, thus leading to enhanced, speedier inclusive development and the attainment of the much longed for social justice.
An author, his lordship also has to his credit the “Nitty-Gritty of Proof”, (a 180 pages book on criminal procedure) and Orijentegbe: (a Voter Education short drama playlet). His lordship’s strong points are said to be her keen sense of justice, industry, His lordship’s strong points are said to be her empathy and integrity.
HON. JUSTICE K. M. AKANO
Judge
Honourable Justice Kudirat Morayo Akano hails from Iragbiji, in Boripe Local Government of Osun State. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from University of Benin in the year 1987 and proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Lagos where she obtained her Barrister at Law certificate in 1988.
She started her legal work experience in the Legal Department of the then Bendel State Police Command between 1988 and 1989. She thereafter worked with A. B. Thomas & Co., in Benin City (1989 – 1993) and Ministry of Justice, Edo State (1993 – 1996). Hon. Justice Akano decided to venture out on her own and she established her law firm in the city of Benin - K. M. Akano & Co. which she managed from 1996 to 1999 before moving out to Osun State.
She started her legal career in the State at the Ministry of Justice, Osun State as Principal State Counsel in March 1999. She rose through the ranks to become the Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry on July 4<sup>th</sup> 2007, a post she held until her elevation to the High Court Bench of Osun State as Judge on 4<sup>th</sup> July, 2011.
His Lordship was a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Osogbo Branch, Federacion Intenationale De Abogadas (FIDA) and Muslim Lawyers Association of Nigeria (MULAN) Osogbo Branch.
At present, she is a member of National Association of Women Judges in Nigeria, International Association of Women Judges, Federation of Muslim Women Associations in Nigeria (FOMWAN) Osun State Branch, NASFAT- Nasrul-lahi-l-Fatih Society, Osogbo Branch, MUSWEN- Muslim Ummah of SouthWest Nigeria.
His lordship has attended numerous Conferences within Nigeria and abroad ranging from annual NBA conferences to professional and continuing education seminars of the National Judicial Institute, Abuja as well as leadership trainings.

HON. JUSTICE M. O. AGBOOLA

The Honourable Justice Matthias Olusegun Agboola was born at Inisa, Odo-Otin Local Government of Osun State on 2<sup>nd</sup> August 1965. He attended the St. Augustine’s Primary School, Inisa for his primary school education (1972-1978), Ibadan Boys High School (1978-1982), Holy Trinity Grammar School, Ibadan(1982 -1983), Ibadan Grammar School, Ibadan (HSC, 1985 - 1986), University of Nigeria, Nsukka (LL.B, 1986-1990), Nigerian Law School, Lagos (B.L., 1990-1991), Nigeria Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, Lagos post-graduate certificate course in Legislative Drafting (1995), Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso (2008-2010) for Master of Public Admin (MPA) degree, and Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife(2010-2012) for his Master of Laws (LLM).
After his national service, His Lordship took up appointment as a Legal Officer in the Ministry of Justice where he served in various posts and ad hoc assignments until he resigned voluntarily as a Senior Legal Officer in June 1996 to form his private firm. His Lordship enjoyed a very robust private legal practice with a litigation bias and had many reported cases from the superior courts of record to his credit. He was appointed as part-time Chairman, Osun State Rent Tribunal from 2000-2003. Also while in practice, His Lordship served as the Secretary of the NBA, Osogbo Branch, 2002-2006 and was a founding member of Ikirun Branch as its first Treasurer, 2006-2008.
On 4<sup>th</sup> January, 2016, Hon. Justice Agboola was sworn in as a Judge of the High Court of the Gambia. While on the bench in the Gambia, His Lordship had the benefit of several aspects of judicial training by the Gambia Judicial Institute and European Union Access to Justice. On 19<sup>th</sup> October, 2019, Hon. Justice was sworn in as a Judge of the High Court of Osun State. Since his appointment, his Lordship has benefitted from several training programmes (physical and virtual) at the National Judicial Institute, Abuja. His Lordship has served at the Ilesa Judicial Division (overseeing Ifetedo Judicial Division) and was appointed as Presiding Judge in respect of anti-corruption cases in Osogbo Judicial Division since 2021.
He is married with children.
HON. JUSTICE L. O. AROJO

Hon. Justice Arojo Lawrence Olawale, born on 20<sup>th</sup> April 1968, finished primary school in 1979, finished secondary school in 1984, completed his upper six (HSC) from Oyo State College of Arts and Science in 1986. His Lordship obtained his LLB (Hons) from Uniben in 1993, BL in 1995 and got called to the Bar in March 1995. He observed NYSC at Enugu State and concluded same in 1996. He practised law briefly in Lagos before joining the Magisterial Bench of Osun state in 1998 as Magistrate grade 2. He moved up the ladder up to Deputy Chief Registrar 2 and 1 and eventually became the Chief Registrar of Osun State High Court in October 2014. He obtained his LL.M degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 2012.
He served briefly as Secretary of Judicial Service Commission, Osun State between 2011/2012. He eventually got elevated to the High Court Bench upon being sworn in on the 25th October 2019.
His Lordship was Chairman of the Justice Sector Committee Osun State while being the Chief Registrar of Osun State High Court. A strict and firm administrator his Lordship was Chairman of so many ad-hoc judicial bodies while being at the High court registry. He is Chairman of an NGO, and member of Board of academic institution and other bodies. He has attended conferences and workshops within and outside Nigeria. He equally delivered papers in workshops of law and justice background. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC).
His hobbies include farming, traveling, and reading. His Lordship is married with children.
HON. JUSTICE S. A. OKE

Hon. Justice S. A. Oke attended Seventh Day Primary School Modakeke and Modakeke High School for his primary and secondary educations respectively. He thereafter obtained National Certificate in Education (Agric. Science) in 1987. He studied Law at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and he obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) in 1996. He proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Abuja where he obtained his Barrister at Law Certificate in the year 1999.
Before his elevation to the High Court bench in 2019, his Lordship was in active legal practice in the law firm of Yusuf O. Ali & Co. from 1999 to 2016. Going by his Lordship’s year of practice and experience, he was promoted as Head of Chambers of the Abuja office of Yusuf Ali & Co, from 2002 to 2016 when he established his own private law office at Suite 43, Yasuha Plaza, Behind A. P. Plaza, Wuse II, Abuja. He had vast legal appearances in Courts and Tribunals in the land including the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, Federal High Court, State High Court, National Industrial Court and Investment Tribunals. He also participated in Election Petition Tribunals from 2003 to 2019 including but not limited to the Presidential Election Tribunals, Governorship and Senate/National Assembly Election Petitions in 2003, 2007 and 2011 respectively.
His lordship is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, International Bar Association and American Bar Association. He has attended all conferences of the Nigerian Bar Association, Conference of the American Bar Association in 2003 as well as Conferences of the International Bar Association in the years 2009 and 2015.
HON. JUSTICE A. O. ADENIJI
Honourable Justice Adedapo Olugbenga Adeniji had his law course at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife between 1985 and 1990 when he obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree. He thereafter attended the Nigerian Law School, Victoria-Island, Lagos Campus from 1990 to 1991 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in July 1992.
His Lordship was a pupil counsel at Amukele & Co., Ahoada, Rivers State during his mandatory national service from October 1991 to September 1992. Thereafter, his lordship practiced law with L. A. Adedeji & Co., Ile-Ife and Lanre Ogunlesi (SAN) & Co., Lagos. He returned to Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife for his post-graduate studies and obtained his Master of Laws degree in 1998.
He joined the Osun State Ministry of Justice in August 1994 as Legal Officer II and he rose through the ranks to become the Acting Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary. After a thoroughly successful stint at the Osun State Ministry of Justice, his lordship was elevated to the High Court Bench in 2021. Since then, he has served in the Osogbo Judicial division and is currently serving at the Ile-Ife Judicial Division.
HON. JUSTICE C. O. OLOKEDE-OBADINA
My name is Hon. Justice Christiana Oluwakemi Olokede-Obadina, a native of Otan Aiyegbaju Town in Boluwaduro local Government Area of Osun State, Osun State Central.
I commenced my Primary School education at Ronk New Age Nursery and Primary School, Akobo Estate, Ibadan, Oyo State. For my Secondary School education, I attended Ikolaba Grammar School GRA, Agodi, Ibadan. I thereafter proceeded to Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State, for my LL.B Hons. I attended The Nigerian Law School Bwari, Abuja, for my B.L. For my NYSC, I served at The Ministry of Justice, Ogun State, at the Department of Administrator-General and Public Trustees. I worked at Comrade Femi Jolaoso Chambers, Panseke, Abeokuta, Ogun State as a Counsel in Chambers. Thereafter I worked at SUI GENERIS AVOCAT as a Principal Partner for many years. HON. JUSTICE M. A. LASISI

Hon. Justice Muhammed Adebayo Lasisi is an Indigene of Osun State, from Iree, Boripe Local Government. He obtained his Law Degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University (LL.B) in 1990; and Bachelor at law (B.L) at Nigerian Law School, in 1991. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in October, 1991. Prior to his appointment as a Magistrate in Osun State, he worked at various law firms, which include Kayode Ali Balogun & Co., Ibadan; Oluwafemi Adetiba & Co., Lagos; E. I. Aloko & Co., Lagos.
He was appointed as Senior Magistrate Grade II in 2001, and rose through the ranks to become Chief Magistrate 1 (Admin) at which time he was Chairman, Magistrate's Association of Nigeria, Osun State Chapter for many years. He was thereafter promoted to become Deputy Chief Registrar II on 18<sup>th</sup> December, 2014 and Deputy Chief Registrar I on 17<sup>th</sup> December, 2018. He was promoted to the position of the Chief Registrar of the High Court of Justice on 1<sup>st</sup> June, 2020 and subsequently elevated to the High Court Bench on the 6<sup>th</sup> day of February, 2023. Hon. Justice Lasisi’s hobbies include Reading, Music and Travelling.

Hon. Justice Michael Oludare Awe was born at Ilesa in Ilesa East Local Government of Osun state, Nigeria on 22nd April, 1967. He attended the Cherubim and Seraphim High School and Ilesa Grammar School, both in Ilesa, for his Secondary and post-Secondary School Education. He obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B Hons) from the prestigious University of Nigeria Nsukka in 1992. He equally passed the bar final Examinations and was called to the Nigerian Bar on 15th December, 1993.
He thereafter worked with the Law firms of Akins & Akins Solicitors, 6 Enu Owa Street, Ondo, Ondo State and Layi Afolabi & Co, 2 Gbongan/Ibadan Road, Osogbo, Osun State, respectively, before he established his Law Office at No. 19, Iwo-Ibadan Road, Osogbo, Osun State in 1998. He was the Principal Counsel in Dare Awe & Co. before he was appointed to the lower bench as a Magistrate Grade I on 1st December, 2000. His lordship’s stay in practice was remarkable in that he was able to achieve great success in the suits he handled. His lordship, through dedication and hardwork, rose through the ranks to become a Chief Magistrate Grade I on 1st December, 2013.
He had served as the Chief Magistrate (Admin) at different Magisterial Districts where he was posted to. He was also appointed the Director of Studies (a post he held for many years) by the Magistrates’ Association of Nigeria, Osun State Chapter. He has attended several N.B.A. and MAN organized retreats, conferences and workshops. He was promoted to the offices of the Deputy Chief Registrar (Establishment) and Deputy Chief Registrar I (Admin) of the High Court of Justice, Osogbo after which he was elevated to the High Court Bench on 6<sup>th</sup> February, 2023. Hon. Justice Awe is married with children and his hobbies include reading, gardening and Motivational talks.
HON. JUSTICE F. A. SODAMADE

Hon. Justice Fatimah Adejoke Sodamade was born on September 12, 1967. She was appointed as Magistrate Grade II in the Osun State Judiciary on December 1st, 2000. She rose through the ranks to become Chief Magistrate I (Admin) on 1<sup>st</sup> December 2016, Deputy Chief Registrar IV on 17<sup>th</sup> December, 2018 and Deputy Chief Registrar II on 1<sup>st</sup> June, 2020. As a Magistrate, His lordship served in various Magisterial Districts in the State. After several years of dedicated service on the lower bench of Osun State, Justice Sodamade was elevated to the High Court bench on the 6<sup>th</sup> day of February, 2023.
HON. JUSTICE J. O. OWOLAWI

Hon. Justice Joseph Olukunle Owolawi was born on the 3<sup>rd</sup> day of April 1970. He is a native of Ile-Ife in the Ife East Local Government Area of Osun State. He attended St John’s Grammar School Ile-Ife and Government College, Ikorodu between 1982/1986 for his Secondary Education and Osun State College of Arts and Science Ile-Ife between 1988/1989 for his Post-Secondary Education. His lordship obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B. Hons) from the Lagos State University, Ojoo, Lagos, in 1994 and was called to the Nigerian Bar on the 14<sup>th</sup> day of March 1996. He served under N.Y.S.C. scheme in Ogun State between 1996/1997.
Prior to his appointment as a Magistrate, His Lordship worked with the Lagos Law firms of Kunle Hassan & Co. and Kole Oyedele & Co., between 1997/2000. He was appointed as a Magistrate Grade II on the 1<sup>st</sup> day of December, 2000. He rose through the ranks by dedication and handwork to become a Chief Magistrate Grade I on the 1<sup>st</sup> day of December, 2016. He served as Administrative Magistrate in various Magisterial Districts such as Ilesa, Ile-Ife, Iwo, Ikirun, Ede, Ibokun, Ifetedo and Gbongan. He served as Treasurer of the Magistrate Association of Nigeria (Osun State Chapter) between 2014/2018 and later the Vice Chairman between 2018/2020. His Lordship was promoted to the office of the Deputy Chief Registrar (Litigation) in the High Court of Justice, Osogbo on the 1<sup>st</sup> day of June 2020 and was later moved to the Department of Establishment in January, 2021. Justice Owolawi was elevated to the High Court bench on 6<sup>th</sup> February, 2023.
He is happily married with children and his hobbies include Reading, Travelling and Football.
