The Magisterial Bench

Olusegun Ayodele Ayilara was born on 24th July, 1972. He obtained Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Obafemi Awolowo University in 1993 and was called to bar in 1995. He obtained Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from University of Maiduguri in 2006, Master of Laws (LL.M) from ABU, Zaria in 2006 and Ph.D in Law from University of Ilorin in 2019. He was appointed Senior Magistrate Grd. I on 10th October, 2012 and is currently the Chief Magistrate (Admin).  

Ladipo Iyabode Rabi, was appointed a Magistrate on the 10th of October 2012. She hails from Iwo, Osun State and attended Obafemi Awolowo University Ile- Ife, the Nigerian Law School Victoria Island Lagos and Federal Government College Sokoto. Before her appointment as a Magistrate she had worked at the Lagos State Ministry of Justice, National Drug law Enforcement Agency and Intercity Bank PLC.

BASHIRU HABIBAT OGHALE was born on October 21, 1974. She obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree between 1993-1999 from University of Benin, Edo State, and proceeded to the Nigerian Law School (B.L) in 2002. She later proceeded to University of Lagos where she obtained her LLM in 2008. She was a Counsel at M. A. Banire Associate between 2004 and 2006, and Principal State Counsel at Lagos State Ministry of Justice between 2006 and 2012 among a host of other experiences. She is happily married with children.

OYEBADEJO ADEWUMI IBITOLA is an indigene of Ode-omu in Ayedaade Local Government Area of Osun State. She obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from University of Ibadan in 2001 and her master’s degree in law (LL.M) in 2009. She garnered her professional experience from Alabukun Chambers Ibadan, Olarewaju & Olarewaju & Co. Abraka, Delta State and thereafter became Co-Partner of Wuyi Adeyemo & Co. before her appointment as Magistrate in the State of Osun.

Abosede Iyabo Sarumi, born on 6th January, obtained the Bachelor of Laws from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife in 1997, and was called to Bar in 1999. She was appointed Magistrate Grade 2 in April 2005. She is now Chief Magistrate 2.

Olufunke Adebowale Oyeniyi was born on September 22. She holds Bachelor of Laws LL.B degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (1997) and was called to Bar in 1999. She was appointed Magistrate grade II on April 1, 2005 and over the years, has risen to the post of Chief Magistrate grade II between 2005-2018. She presently presides over Chief Magistrate’s Court, Ejigbo and also over the Family Court.

Olatundun Adijat Oloyade was born on March 18, 1973. She obtained the National Certificate of Education in Adeyemi College of Education Ondo in 1993; obtained the Bachelor of Laws Degree in 1999 from the University of Ilorin and was called to the Bar in 2001. She was appointed Magistrate grade II on April 1, 2005 and is presently the Chief Magistrate II sitting in the Chief Magistrate’s Court 2, Ilesa.  

Adebayo Kolawole Ajala was born on January 24, 1973. He obtained the Bachelor of Laws Degree from the Ahmadu Bello University in 2000, and was called to Bar in 2002. He was appointed Magistrate grade II in Osun State Judiciary on April 1, 2005 and is of present Chief Magistrate II presiding in Osogbo.  

OLATUNJI MUIBAH ADEDAYO was born December 15 1970. She obtained her Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree from Usman Danfodiyo University, Sokoto State, and later proceeded to University of Lagos, Akoka Lagos State for her Master in Law (LLM). She worked as Counsel under various Law firms between 1999 and 2005. She was Judicial Assistant between 2005 and 2012 before her appointment as Magistrate at Osun State Judiciary. She is happily married with children.    

Oyawale Abimbola Kudirat (Nee Akinkunmi) was born on the 19th Day of December 1974, a native of Ilobu Osun State. She obtained her law degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in the year 2000 and attended Nigeria law School where she obtained bachelors at Law in Febuary 2003. In year 2007 she became a certified Project Manager (PRINCE 2).   Abimbola moved to the United Kingdom in year 2004. From that time to March 2008, she worked at OCS Support Service as Administrative Assistant. International Cash Service Ltd as Account Manager, External Solicitors Representative of London Firms Directorate Department as a deed and legal Officer. From the year 2008 to May 2012, she was with R.A. Ogunwole SAN & Co Ibadan where she practiced as legal practitioner. <strong><b> </b></strong>

IDOWU-FAITH OLAKUNLE EBENEZER hails from Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State. He obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree between 1998 and 2002 from University of Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State and Nigerian Law School (BL) in 2003. He gathered a lot of experience from different Law firms between 2003 and 2009 after which he opened his own Chamber, Idowu-Faith & Co., Iwo Road Ibadan between 2009-2012. He is happily married with children.

OMOTAYO ADEMOLA OJO who hails from Bolorunduro Area of Osun State, was born on September 17, 1971. He went to Federal Polytechnic Ede in Osun State. Between 1994 and 1998 where he bagged O.N.D. Financial Studies and HND Accounting. He later went to University of Ilorin for Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B) from 2000-2004 and University of Ibadan for his LLM between 2008 and 2010. He gathered a lot of experience under Prince L. O. Fagbemi SAN, before he started his own Chambers Omotayo Ademola & Co., Oke-Onitea, Osogbo. He is happily married with children.  

Adedotun Adegunre Ayeni hails from Ila-Orangun in Osun State. He attended Alafia Nursery and Primary School, Mokola, Ibadan, Baptist Grammar School, Ibadan and OSSCE, Ila-Orangun. He graduated from University of Uyo. His hobbies include swimming and playing chess.  

Adediwura Oluwatosin Busayo who hails from Ile-Ife in Osun State, was born on November 13, 1979. She obtained her Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State and proceeded to Nigerian Law School (B.L) in 2005. She is happily married.

Badmus Opeyemi Taofeek was born to a devoted Muslim family in Ejigbo Local Government Area of Osun State. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from University of Ilorin. He was Counsel at M. A. Laogun & Co, Oke-fia Osogbo, between 2006-2007 and Adekola Mustapha & Co., CBD Abuja between 2008 and 2012. He is now a Magistrate at Osun State Judiciary. He is happily married with children.  

Adejumoke Ademola Omoniyi was born on August 23, 1980. She obtained her LL.B from the Lagos State University (1998-2005) and was called to Bar in 2006. She obtained Pnm in Alternative Dispute Resolution between 2006-2007 and LL.M from John Moore University, Liverpool between 2007-2010. She was appointed Magistrate grade I in the Osun State Judiciary on October 10, 2012 and is presently presiding in the Magistrate’s Court 3, Ilesha. <strong><b> </b></strong>

Ajiboye Dorcas Olubunmi (Nee Faloseyi) hails from Osogbo, Osun State. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from University of Ado-Ekiti and Nigerian Law School (B.L.) in 2006. She worked at Oladimeji Adams & Co. Chambers, Ibadan, and M. A. Laogun & Co Chambers, Osogbo. She is happily married.

Miss. IDOWU BOSEDE BUNMI was born on August 1, 1976. She obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from Obafemi Awolowo University. She worked as a Corporate Counsel at NICON Insurance Plc, Abuja and had a host of other work experiences. She is presently a Magistrate of Osun State. She also obtained her LL.M degree in 2009 at O.A.U, Ile-Ife and has attended both in-house and national seminars, retreats and conferences in Nigeria. She is a member of NBA, MAN, AWID and CEF.

ADEDOKUN VERONICA ABOSEDE was born on November 6, 1977. She obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife. She worked at D. A. Odunnaike Chambers, Lagos, Resource Expertise Consulting Firm, and Adewale Afolabi Chambers before her appointment as Magistrate in Osun State. She is happily married. <strong><b> </b></strong>

Mrs. Adebola Odunayo Odeleye (ACG), Senior Magistrate Grade I hails from Gbongan in Osun State. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B Hons) degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and was called to Bar in 2007. Prior to her appointment on 10th October, 2012 as Magistrate Grade II, she worked with various clients and in reputable law firms including Okubiyi Chambers of Chief Adeniyi Akintola SAN and Co., Lagos, and she garnered over 5 years professional experience in different areas of legal practice including civil and criminal litigations, commercial and corporate practices as well as election petition cases. She has trainings in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) techniques and she is also an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, UK (Associate, Chartered Governance Professional). In her current role as a Magistrate, she has served in different Magisterial districts including Ede, Ibokun, Esa-Oke, Ipetu-Jesa and Osogbo.. She is also the Judicial Research Assistant to the Honourable Chief Judge of Osun State and the Head of the ICT Unit.

Olugbenga Olanrewaju Oladoke obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in the year 2010. He attended the Lagos Campus of the Nigerian Law School and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2012. Prior to his appointment as a Magistrate in Osun State, he worked as Counsel with Adeniyi Akintola & Co. for his compulsory national youth service and thereafter with G. A. Adesina & Co., Osogbo. He was appointed as Magistrate Grade I on 3rd October, 2017. As a Magistrate, he has served in various Magisterial Districts including Osogbo, Iree, Igbajo and Iwo.

Adebayo, Kikelomo Theresa was born on 12th December, 1980 in Osogbo. She is a native of Otan Ayegbaju, Osun State. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Ibadan and was called to Bar in the year 2009. Until her appointment as a Senior Magistrate Grade Level II in year 2020, she was in active legal practice. She is married with children.  

Oyindamola Daramola born on the 23rd of November is a Senior Magistrate II in the Osun state Judiciary. She hails from Ilie in Olorunda Local Government of Osun State. She attended Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin where she bagged Higher National Diploma Certificate in Public Administration. Thereafter, she proceeded to study Law at the University of Ado Ekiti where she obtained her LL.B and then to the Nigerian Law School Lagos campus for B.L. She also bagged her Master of Laws (LL.M) from the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife. Before her appointment as a Senior Magistrate II, she was the Head of Legal Department LAUTECH Teaching Hospital Osogbo. She is presently presiding at Chief Magistrate Court 5 Osogbo. She is a member of the following professional bodies: Nigerian Bar Association. Magistrates’ Association of Nigeria. Member, Federacion International de Abrogadas [FIDA]. Member, Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators of Nigeria. Fellow, Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators of Nigeria (ICMC). She is Happily married and blessed with Children.  

Adekanmi Adeyemo Adeyeba hails from Ile – Ife in Ife East Local Government of Osun State. He was born on the 21st of March, 1978. He obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile – Ife, Nigeria in year 2010 and immediately proceeded to Nigerian Law School, Lagos and was called to the Nigerian Bar on the 17th January, 2012. He also badged the Masters degree in Law (LL.M) from the same Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile – Ife Nigeria in the year 2020. He previously worked as Registrar in the Osun State Judiciary before he read Law. Mr. Adeyeba also worked with Aminu Bappa & Co. Legal Practitioners Biu Road, Gombe Nigeria between December and June, 2012, Abimbola Yusuf & Co. Solicitors 171, Iworoko Road, Ado – Ekiti, Ekiti State Nigeria and Adedokun and Adeyeba, a firm of legal practitioners (2018 – 2020). As a private legal practitioner, he was appointed Senior Magistrate Grade II on 7th February, 2020 and is presently sitting at Chief Magistrate Court 6, Osogbo. He is married with children.  

Ibukun. A. Adeniran graduated from the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Kwara State in the year 2011 with a Bachelor of Laws degree and was called to the Nigerian Bar in the year 2012. He worked with the Nigeria Baptist Press Limited, Ibadan, in 2013 during his compulsory one- year National Youth Service. Thereafter, he worked in the law office of Remi Ayoade & Co., Osogbo, Osun State from 2014 to 2016. He enrolled at and graduated from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, for his Masters of Laws programme between 2016 and 2018. He started his private legal practice, in the year 2017, when he formed a partnership with Rt. Honourable Rafiu Adejare Bello to form the law firm of BELLO & ADENIRAN situate in Osogbo, Osun State where he worked as the Managing Partner until he was appointed a Senior Magistrate Grade II on the 7th February, 2020 with the Osun State Judiciary. He has since then worked in several magisterial districts including Ila-Orangun, Oke-Ila and Ifon Magisterial districts.

Ayokunle Shiyanbola is from Ede South Local Government of Osun State. He graduated from Igbinedion University, Edo state and thereafter he proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Lagos, where he obtained his Bachelor at law. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and he practiced as a legal practitioner for years before his appointment on Feb 7 2020 as a Magistrate grade II in Osun State Judiciary. Prior to his appointment, he worked as a State Counsel in Katsina State Ministry of Justice, Solicitor and Advocate at B. A. Akande and Co. Osogbo and M. A. Laogun and Co., Osogbo, Osun State.
