HON. JUSTICE A. O. ADENIJI

Biography

Honourable Justice Adedapo Olugbenga Adeniji had his law course at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife between 1985 and 1990 when he obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree. He thereafter attended the Nigerian Law School, Victoria-Island, Lagos Campus from 1990 to 1991 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in July 1992.

His Lordship was a pupil counsel at Amukele & Co., Ahoada, Rivers State during his mandatory national service from October 1991 to September 1992. Thereafter, his lordship practiced law with L. A. Adedeji & Co., Ile-Ife and Lanre Ogunlesi (SAN) & Co., Lagos. He returned to Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife for his post-graduate studies and obtained his Master of Laws degree in 1998.

He joined the Osun State Ministry of Justice in August 1994 as Legal Officer II and he rose through the ranks to become the Acting Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary. After a thoroughly successful stint at the Osun State Ministry of Justice, his lordship was elevated to the High Court Bench in 2021. Since then, he has served in the Osogbo Judicial division and is currently serving at the Ile-Ife Judicial Division.
